This podcast, modeled after the popular "This I Believe" podcasts on NPR, details the story of my cousin Tommy, who does not allow his muscular dystrophy to consume his life. He pursues the best life possible, never losing his signature optimistic attitude or smile. This piece reflects my feelings about life, that you should always seek for happiness and positivity even when you are experiencing tough times. By narrating my cousin's story, I hope to inspire those in need to seek out the best of their current situation without losing sight of their goals.

How Concussions Have Shaped Football
This TED talk presents the alterations and policy changes that concussions have caused in football. Through groundbreaking research of former players exhibiting brain damage, researchers were able to defy the NFL's claim that football and concussions are not related and ensured player safety was modified. This presentation is effective in presenting the information of concussions in football, as well as providing outlook on the future of the sport due to the new developments and lawsuits filed by former players. Even though football is still America's favorite sport, it appears that this new information will turn people away from it. I believe that this presentation will encourage viewers to have optimism towards the future and prevent this great game from disappearing.
Wellness Programs At Penn State
This video discusses the controversy surrounding Penn State and its implementation of a wellness program, which forces employees to fill out a health questionnaire or risk being fined. The video historicizes the issue, presenting both sides of the argument regarding wellness programs and how the university was able to deal with the controversial program. Along with three of my fellow classmates, we were able to explore the topic and create a video detailing why this topic created such a backlash among university employees.

By using different types of media, I was able to create different projects throughout the year that ranged from podcasts, TED talks, and video presentations. This section will detail and present these projects, illustrating how various types of media can be effective in portraying beliefs, as well as showcasing the technology I utilized and learned over the year. Engineers are constantly adapting to new technologies developed, so it makes sense that I include my attempts to use different media to display my work. I believe this section illustrates my ability to be technologically savvy when new media is presented to me.
